Keeping up with HoJew
Ah, the life and times of an intermittent blogger. I love to blog. Vent about my life, read about others. I enjoy "knowing" people all over that have all kinds of stuff going on. These people's blogs are a part of my routine and that's a little weird, but I need that escapism.
Usually, at the end of a day, I tell my husband about my day. ALl the stupid work stories, the gossip among my friends, family drama, and every other detail of my life. He pretends to care, as he is a good husband. But his ears always perk up when I am talking about something from blogger-land. (probably as he is bored to TEARS with the lame details of my repetitive "real" life) Lately, the terms "Flispy" and "HoJew" are his favorites. It all started when I discovered Flipsy's blog, and then told him about her blog, and then about her partner HoJew. Then I told him when HoJew was asked to be in a movie as Jesus. He was legitimately entertained by that story. He was also very amused by HoJew and Flipsy's recent photo-of-a-New-York-Cop-Capade.
But that got him to thinking: If I am reading some person's life details via internet, and know all this about them, and therefore he knows all this stuff...then are there people out there that hear random "J" stories? And what exactly am I sharing? Do I make him look cool? Am I telling all the "good ones"? But most importantly, why is he known simply as "J"? BORING!!! Why can't be known in a memorable way like HoJew? (Shoo, do you ever think of renaming Jeff? ;))
I explained that he was fiance, but that was a little weird after the wedding... so he was transistioned to J. He was flabbergasted. TO him, he should have been referred to all along by his own alias. The name he uses in all football pools and any other time some goofy name is needed. Why did I not use that?
Fair enough. Therefore, I hereby "christen" J...are you ready for this? I am shaking a bottle of MirrorPond to break over his head for full effect---- drum roll....
Bloggers....meet El Guapo!!!
This is him on honeymoon! Be careful what you wish for El Guapo.

Hola El Guapo! Tu es muy guapo. ;)
KIA, I never thought of renaming Jeff 'till now... Of course he doesn't have a cool internet name like your guy, so I'll probably just stick with Jeff!
I so know what you mean about the blog routine; if I miss more than a day or 2 of reading my fellow bloggers, I just don't feel right! :)

Yes, I think it is. El Guapo just means "the good-looking one" I think.
Not quite superhero, but my hero!

I freaking love it - he's the guapoest of them all in that pic! You know I'm not a blogger, too private I guess (or lazy), but I love to read yours. It always makes me laugh and cry and remember that my world is so tiny.
